One woman’s dream wedding went awry last month as her maid of honor was attacked by hotel bed bugs just days before the big ceremony.

The maid of honor, who is also the bride’s sister, noticed the bites several days into her stay at a Howard Johnson in San Antonio. According to KHOU.com, “She even found the actual bugs after pulling off the bed sheets.”
The Howard Johnson maintenance team inspected the room but found no bed bugs. They offered her a new room, but this maid of honor had enough of bed bugs for one weekend and booked it 23 hours back home to Michigan.
