The National Pest Management Association Inc. (NPMA)recently shared some helpful tips on avoiding bed bugs and mosquitos this Spring Break.
Travelers should be aware that the hitch hiking bugs can catch a ride home with you in luggage and on clothing. NPMA recommends:
- Inspect hotel rooms for bed bugs – Pull back sheets, inspect mattress seams, box springs, headboards, sofas and chairs for brownish red spots, shed skins or bed bugs.
- Avoid placing luggage on furniture – Try not to place your luggage on beds or upholstered furniture in hotel rooms and store it in a plastic bag.
- Clean upon returning home – Inspect suitcases and vacuum them out before bringing them inside. Make sure to wash and dry all of your clothes on high heat.

This is why exterminators using our Avtron heaters can charge less money per sq ft than those using Brand “X” – time is money and we save you time! Without burning your house down!!
