Lately, the news about bed bugs has been focused on the high price consumers pay mentally and – with the discovery of a possible link to a dangerous bacteria – physically when they encounter the bloodsucking
critters. But for many Americans, it’s the financial component of costly bed bug treatments that is keeping them up at night.
In a recent article on FoxBusiness.com, two pest control experts outlined some tips to save money by detecting an infestation early. Among other tips, they recommended being conscientious when travelling and utilizing mattress and box spring encasements (that are certified to be bed bug proof) at home.
